Weaving Demonstration

Barbara Manzanares, a self-taught weaver, spent the morning with us at La Puerta School. She brought with her wool that she has dyed naturally using plants and bugs! The children were able to card and spin wool using different hand tools. The children then started to weave on three different types of looms - Navajo loom, table loom and individual hand held looms.
